Tallero Terms of Service

These terms govern use of the Tallero web app and any Android version provided by Alessandro Di Terlizzi, operating under the name Codedge in Italy. By using Tallero, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the app.
1. What Tallero does
Tallero is a general information tool that calculates currency conversions. The service may work with current, cached or bundled rate data and clearly shows the reference date available to the app.
2. Exchange rates
Rates are obtained through the Frankfurter public API from published reference-rate sources. They are generally updated on working days, are not live market quotes, and may be delayed, unavailable, incomplete or inaccurate. Always verify a rate with your bank or payment provider before a transaction.
3. No financial advice
Tallero does not provide financial, investment, trading, tax, accounting or legal advice. Results are estimates and must not be the sole basis for contracts, transfers, purchases or other decisions that may cause loss.
4. Offline use and calculations
When offline, Tallero may use the last valid cached rates or bundled fallback rates, which can be old. Calculations depend on the amount and rate shown. You are responsible for checking the displayed date and result before relying on them.
5. Licence and ownership
Codedge grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the official Tallero app for its intended purpose. Tallero, its design and its source code remain protected. You may not copy, modify, redistribute or reverse engineer them except where mandatory law expressly permits it.
6. Third-party services
Rate delivery depends on Frankfurter, internet and hosting infrastructure, the device operating system and, for Android distributions, the app store. Those independent services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Codedge does not control their availability or records.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse Tallero, interfere with its operation, bypass security, introduce harmful code, access it unlawfully or use it in a way that violates another person's rights or applicable law.
8. Availability and updates
Tallero is provided without a promise of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features, rate sources and these terms may be changed when reasonably necessary. Support or a version may be suspended or discontinued; important changes will be published in the app or on this page.
9. Liability and consumer rights
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codedge is not liable for losses caused by reliance on rates, calculation errors, stale data or service unavailability. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
10. Law, language and contact
Italian law governs these terms, without taking away mandatory protections of the country where a consumer lives. The competent court is determined by mandatory law.
